Services
1) Board/Card Game Rulebooks
The rulebook is the backbone of any game. The components, rules, examples of play, possibly some strategy tips, and even the theme will all be conveyed in those few pages. Can players learn to play the game based on the rulebook alone, with no playthrough videos or teachers at the table? It is our goal to ensure that your rulebook is clear and concise, and gives your players everything they need for a successful and fun first play. For full-service editing, you will receive up to three rounds of edits as needed, and final proofreading is included.
Full Service: 5 cents per word. The final rate is determined after the scope of the project is discussed. $100 minimum.
Proofreading: 2 cents per word, $50 minimum.
25% rush fee for < 2-week turnaround. Not available for all projects.
2) Roleplaying Games
Worldbuilding takes a unique skill set to see it come to fruition. RPGs require that skill set to be taken to the next level. They must be satisfying on multiple fronts; a blending of storytelling, genre fiction, game mechanics, and art. We can help ensure continuity within the world, clear rules explanations, and quality story development both in backstory/history and gameplay. For our full-service editing, we use a combination of developmental editing, technical editing, and copyediting. With full-service editing, you will receive up to three rounds of edits as needed, and a final proofread* is also included.
